CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018-038 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AND APPOINTING MEMBERS <br />TO A CIVIC SPACE TASK FORCE FOR RICE CREEK COMMONS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills (“City”) and Ramsey County (“County”) have <br />previously entered into a Joint Powers Agreement for the redevelopment of the Twin Cities Army <br />Ammunition Plant site; and <br />WHEREAS, the City and County are negotiating a Master Development Agreement for <br />the site with the selected Master Developer and its partners in the redevelopment project; and <br />WHEREAS, as part of the project, an area of the project has been identified for possible <br />conveyance to the City of Arden Hills for city and civic uses; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Arden Hills wishes to have the potential conveyance and <br />use by the City of property within the redevelopment project studied and evaluated in more detail <br />and a recommended course of action provided to the City Council; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills <br />that: <br />1. The following are hereby appointed by the City Council to serve as the Civic Space <br />Task Force (Advisory Committee): <br />John Van Valkenburg <br />Paul Beggin <br />Dan Erickson <br />Brendan O'Meara <br />Arlene Mitchell <br />David Radziej <br />Clayton Zimmerman <br />Miriam Ward <br />Craig Wilson <br />Alternate (for appointed PTRC <br />members only): Rich Straumann <br />2. Councilmembers Holmes and Holden are designated as Council liaisons and City <br />Administrator Dave Perrault (or his designee) as staff liaison. <br />Item <br />Item 7N
