Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />The Economic Development Authority discussed the State of the City event at their meeting on <br />April 23, 2018 and was supportive of holding the morning event at the Tavern Grill restaurant <br />again. The Economic Development Commission has also discussed the State of the City for 2018 <br />and is in support of holding the event at the Tavern Grill. In the past, the morning event has been <br />held on a Wednesday or Thursday in late September or early October. Potential dates for the <br />morning event include: <br />• Wednesday, September 19 <br />• Wednesday, September 26 <br />• Thursday, September 27 <br />• Wednesday, October 3 <br />• Thursday, October 4 <br /> <br />The evening event has typically been held on a Tuesday in also in late September or early <br />October. Potential dates for the evening event in 2018 include: <br />• Tuesday, October 2 <br />• Tuesday, October 9 (Karth Lake District Meeting Scheduled) <br /> <br /> <br />Questions: <br /> <br />1. Would the City Council like to hold an evening State of the City event in 2018 in <br />addition to the morning event? <br />2. Does the Council have a preferred date for either event? <br />3.
