STUDY AREA <br /> <br />The study area is generally defined as the area along Colleen Avenue between James Avenue and <br />Norma Avenue and the downstream flow path area bound by the Townhomes at Arden Hills, Colleen <br />Ave, McClung Dr, Snelling Ave, Royal Hills Dr, and Arden View Dr. The downstream study area, <br />Ponding Area, and IOC Wetland are illustrated Figure 1 in red, green, and blue, respectively. <br /> <br />Figure 1. Downstream Study Area <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />III. MODELING AND FINDINGS <br /> <br />Stormwater modeling was completed using XP-SWMM and HydroCAD software. All drainage areas <br />tributary to the study area were evaluated during modeling. The extents of the drainage area tributary to <br />the downstream study area and upstream drainage patters are shown in Figure 2. Analysis was <br />completed on feasibility analysis scale focusing on key discharge points, ponding areas, and conveyance <br />systems. Field survey of some critical downstream locations was completed, including cross sections of <br />the downstream channel between Arden Vista Ct/ Royal Hills Dr and Colleen Ct/ McClug Drive, <br />emergency overflows, house low opening elevations, downstream storm sewer sizes and inverts <br />including along Colleen Avenue and near the Royal Hills Drive and Snelling Ave intersection, etc. <br />
