This <br />position is non-supervisory and exempt. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />City Staff and the Personnel Committee have discussed and are supportive of moving forward <br />with posting for the City Planner Position. <br /> <br />Anticipated process: <br />-Council approves authorization to post <br />-Staff advertises job opening <br />-Staff reviews applications, interviews candidates, and selects a finalist <br />-Staff will review the finalist with the Personnel Committee <br />-Staff will bring the finalist for approval to a City Council Meeting on the consent calendar <br /> <br />This position will be brought forward to the Personnel Committee for review, and go to the rest <br />of the City Council on the consent calendar. <br /> <br />Attachment <br /> <br />N/A <br />CONSENT ITEM – 7K <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br />
