As you state in the narrative report, the site plan addresses a need for storage
on the property, speaks about the hardship with locating this garage anywhere that would comply
with all zoning restrictions and would seem to fit in with the character of the neighborhood. Please
just revise the narrative to reflect any changes in the site plan and add the shoreland overlay
impervious surface restriction of 25%. Yes – I would stress in your letter that the overall impervious
surface on the property would be reduced with approval of this site plan. I would recommend not
phrasing it in the narrative as a second variance, instead one variance/site plan that doesn’t meet
two items in the code. Make sense?

I do have quite a few other meetings on Tuesday but will try to be free at 4:00 to meet with you. As
stated in the previous email, if an electronic copy of the site plan is available, I would review as soon
as it is available. I prefer receiving electronic copies as opposed to scanning and reproducing items
as it sometimes leads to the scale becoming slightly off. If this is something RJRud would be willing
to provide, it may help with my review.

Thanks and let me know if you have further questions.

Alex

From: Curt Moen [mailto:cdmoen5@hotmail.com]
Sent: Friday, September 05, 2014 9:39 AM
To: Alex Conzemius
Subject: RE: Meeting Follow Up - Shoreland Overlay District

Good Morning,

I met with RJRud survey company this morning to have my plan revised and it will be done by
Monday. Please clarify what you mean by shoreland overlay restrictions. Do I need to
address this in my variance verbage? If this restriction is set at 25% impervious do I ask for
a second variance requesting for an overeage of 5% and is this something that would get
approved because I'm reducing from my current impervious of 34% down to 30%.

I would like to make an appointment for Tuesday Sept 9th at 4:00 to drop off all of the items
