Per City Code, the City is responsible <br />for water services including the curb stop, or in this case valve, to the main. Staff contacted <br />Valley Rich to provide a quote for the work. The base bid for the replacement is $7,650.00. <br />Valley Rich also provided an alternate price of $750.00 for restoration; however, staff will <br />complete any restoration necessary. In addition, Valley Rich provided a quote of $1,500.00 in <br />the event the work has to be completed after hours. City staff will provide trucking if needed to <br />haul away any spoils. <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the Council authorize payment to Valley Rich in the amount of <br />$9,150.00. <br /> <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />Attachment A – Valley Rich Proposal
