The Planning <br />Commission may consider providing additional findings of fact as part of the motion to support <br />their recommendation for approval or denial. <br />1. Recommend Approval: Motion to recommend approval of Planning Case 18-018 for a <br />Rezoning of the property at 3243 New Brighton Road to R-1 – Single Family Residential <br />District, based on the findings of fact and the submitted plans, in the August 8, 2018 Report <br />to the Planning Commission. <br />2. Recommend Denial: Motion to recommend denial of Planning Case 18-018 for a Rezoning <br />of the property at 3243 New Brighton Road to R-1 – Single Family Residential District, <br />based on the following findings of fact:findings to deny should specifically reference the <br />reasons for denial. <br />3. Table: Motion to table Planning Case 18-018 for a Rezoning of the property at 3243 New <br />Brighton Road to R-1 – Single Family Residential District:a specific reason and/or <br />information request should be included with a motion to table. <br />Public Notice and Comments <br />Notice on this planning case was published in the Arden Hills/Shoreview Bulletin on July 25, <br />2018. A mailing regarding the proposed rezoning was mailed to property owners within 500 feet <br />of the subject property. <br />Staff received an email from a resident in the neighborhood expressing their support for the <br />proposed rezoning. A copy of the correspondence is included in Attachment F. <br />A letter was sent to Trinity Lutheran Lake Johanna on June 21, 2018 notifying them of the <br />proposed rezoning.
