It <br /> AR EN HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2018-051 <br /> ABATEMENT OF A NUISANCE AT 3246 NEW BRIGHTON ROAD <br /> WHEREAS,Journey Home Minnesota is the property owner of the following described property: <br /> Address: 3246 New Brighton Road <br /> Arden Hills, Minnesota 55112 <br /> PID: 333023340102 <br /> Legal Description:See Exhibit A attached hereto <br /> WHEREAS, notice therefore was posted on said property and sent certified mail to the property <br /> owner pursuant to City Regulations; and, <br /> WHEREAS, this abatement was initiated pursuant to the City of Arden Hills Municipal Code; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS,the Arden Hills City Council held a hearing on August 27,2018. All persons present <br /> at said meeting were given an opportunity to be heard and present written statements. The Council <br /> also considered the recommendation of the City Staff that this abatement be approved; and, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL <br /> hereby adopts Resolution 2018-051, ordering the abatement of violations of City Code Section <br /> 602.02 that does not comply with City regulations at 3246 New Brighton Road, Arden Hills, <br /> Minnesota, and to charge the property owner for 125 percent of the cost of abatement, including <br /> administrative costs. The City Administrator is authorized to monitor the property through August <br /> 27, 2020; and to abate any nuisances that do not comply with City regulations, and to charge to <br /> the property owner for each subsequent abatement 125 percent of the cost of abatement, including <br /> administrative costs; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, in the event that the property owner does not pay any portion <br /> of the charges, that the unpaid amount shall be assessed against the Property, to be collected with <br /> the real estate taxes in the year in which this Resolution is recorded, together with an Affidavit of <br /> Cost incurred, and that any assessments levied pursuant to this Resolution shall bear interest at the <br /> 198964v1 <br />
