ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL – AUGUST 13, 2018 4 <br /> <br />10. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />11. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Scott thanked all residents who hosted and participated in the Night to Unite <br />events last week. <br /> <br />Councilmember Scott encouraged the public to get out and vote on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 <br />for the primary election. <br /> <br />Councilmember Scott invited the public to attend the joint meeting and BBQ being hosted by the <br />PTRC and Beyond the Yellow Ribbon on Monday, August 20 at 6:00 p.m. at Cummings Park. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmes stated she also had the privilege of attending a number of neighborhood <br />events during Night to Unite. She thanked Sergeant Kevin Otto for allowing her to ride along <br />with him. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden suggested staff send thank you notes to the residents that hosted <br />neighborhood parties for Night to Unite. The Council supported this recommendation and asked <br />that these thank you notes be signed by the entire Council. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden requested the sewer warranty issue be placed on the next Council <br />worksession agenda for further discussion. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant commented he attended six or seven events during Night to Unite where he <br />received many questions from the public regarding TCAAP and street improvements. He thanked <br />all of the residents that planned and hosted the neighborhood parties. <br /> <br />City Clerk Hanson explained today marked the end of early voting for the Primary Election and <br />noted polls would open at 7:00 a.m. and would close at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to adjourn.
