APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a
motion to approve the meeting agenda as presented. The motion carried
unanimously (4-0).
2. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL
Vince Pellegrin, 1977 Thom Drive, expressed frustration with the construction activity on his
street. He stated he has been communicating with City staff and the Ramsey County Sheriff's
office. He shared several photographs with the Council and noted three homes were being built
on Thom Drive. He explained the contractors for these homes were relieving themselves in the
street, littering, and knocking over mailboxes. He reported the contractors also park equipment in
front of his driveway, therefore blocking his access. He indicated the police have been called for
this. In addition, the police have been called due to the fact the contractor was starting work prior
to 7:00 a.m. He stated he was really frustrated with the fact the contractor had fractured his street
and the street would now be damaged permanently.
Mayor Grant requested staff provide the Council with a summary of actions that have been taken
to address Mr. Pellegrin's concerns at the August 27, 2018 Council meeting.
