The purpose of the study is to determine the impacts and <br />benefits from higher education land uses and provide recommendations for possible Zoning <br />Code and Comprehensive Plan amendments regarding higher education uses. <br /> <br />At previous meetings, the EDC has reviewed the following components of this study: <br />• Typical employment and economic activity from allowed commercial and employment <br />uses in the City’s different zoning districts (May 3) <br />• Current amount of land and building space available in the City’s commercial and <br />employment districts (June 7) <br /> <br />WSB will be in attendance at the August 2 meeting to present a draft of the Commercial, <br />Industrial, and Higher Education Study. A final draft of the Higher Education Moratorium Study <br />report is expected to be completed in September. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />A.
