<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: October 16, 2018 <br /> <br />TO: Parks Trails and Recreation Committee <br /> <br />FROM: Sara Knoll, Parks and Recreation Coordinator <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Civic Site Task Force Site Options and Updates <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The Civic Task Force met with the Arden Hills City Council, Alatus and HGA to discuss <br />different options that have been discussed for the civic site in Rice Creek Commons. Three <br />options were presented by HGA that included the following: Meeting/gathering spaces, <br />conference rooms, performance space, senior activity space, art classroom, program offices, <br />event space, restaurant/café, single court gymnasium, kids’ gymnasium/multipurpose gym, and a <br />wellness studios. Committee Members Paul Beggin, and John Van Valkenburg (Rich Straumann <br />– Alternate) have been attending the Civic Site Task Force meetings and will give us an update <br />of what has been discussed. A handout will be provided at the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
