Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />New this year to the SCORE grant program are financial incentives for actions above and <br />beyond the minimum work plan. These incentives include bulky waste collection, engaging <br />small businesses in recycling, promoting BizRecycle for food waste reductions and organics <br />recycling programs, co-sponsoring an organics drop-off sire, or other activities approved by <br />Ramsey County. Each incentive is worth about $2,260, and each city can apply for up to two <br />incentives, a potential value of about $4,500. In conversations with Ramsey County, County staff <br />are understanding of the current staffing transition and are willing to work with the City of Arden <br />Hills to implement incentives in the first half of 2019 once a full-time planner has been hired, <br />should the City Council choose to implement additional practices and/or programs to pursue <br />additional funds <br />Attachment <br />A: Resolution 2018-059 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
