"It <br /> --AI�EN HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2018-064 <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS <br /> FOR ABATEMENT OF A NUISANCE AT 3246 NEW BRIGHTON ROAD <br /> WHEREAS, Journey Home Minnesota is the property owner of the following described <br /> property: <br /> Address: 3246 New Brighton Road <br /> PID: 333023340102 <br /> WHEREAS,this abatement was initiated pursuant to the City of Arden Hills Municipal Code; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City Administrator was previously authorized to remediate the property and to <br /> charge the property owner for 125 percent of the cost of abatement, including administrative <br /> costs; and <br /> WHEREAS, notice was duly mailed to the property owner; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the Arden Hills City Council held a hearing on December 10, 2018. All persons <br /> present at said meeting were given an opportunity to be heard and present written statements. <br /> The Council also considered the recommendation of the City Staff that this abatement be <br /> approved; and, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL <br /> hereby adopts Resolution 2018-064, adopting special assessments in the amount of$648.00 <br /> related to charges incurred for the abatement of noxious weeds and vegetation growth that did <br /> not comply with City regulations at 3246 New Brighton Road; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, In the event that the property owner does not pay any portion <br /> of the charges, that the unpaid amount shall be assessed against the Property, to be collected with <br /> the real estate taxes in the year in which this Resolution is recorded, together with an Affidavit of <br /> Cost incurred, and that any assessments levied pursuant to this Resolution shall bear interest at <br /> the rate of 4.5% per annum from the date of recording until December 31 S`of the year in which <br /> the special assessment is paid in full. <br />
