'Tit <br /> -- I�DEN_ HILLS <br /> Approved: December 10, 2018 <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br /> CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br /> NOVEMBER 19, 2018 <br /> 5:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Grant called to order the City Council <br /> Work Session at 5:00 p.m. <br /> Present: Mayor David Grant; Councilmembers Brenda Holden, Fran Holmes, Dave <br /> McClung and Steve Scott <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also present: City Administrator Dave Perrault; Public Works Superintendent Jeff Frid; <br /> Senior Engineering Technician David Swearingen; Finance Director Gayle Bauman; City <br /> Planner Mike Mrosla; and City Clerk Julie Hanson <br /> City Administrator Perrault introduced two new staff members to the City Council. He <br /> welcomed Dave Swearingen, the City's new Senior Engineering Tech, and Mike Mrosla, the new <br /> City Planner. <br /> Senior Engineering Technician Swearingen stated he came to Arden Hills from Stantec and <br /> explained he was looking forward to working with the City. <br /> City Planner Mrosla indicated he was hired as the new City Planner stating he came from <br /> Woodbury <br /> Mayor Grant asked that two additional topics be added to the agenda for discussion. These items <br /> were the topic of Council Comments at regular City Council meetings and the process for Public <br /> Hearings. <br /> 1. AGENDA ITEMS <br /> A. 2019 Budget <br /> Finance Director Bauman stated a budget workshop was held with the Council on August 20, <br /> 2018.
