Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEM – 7C <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: January 14, 2019 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> Dave Perrault., City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Julie Hanson, City Clerk <br /> <br />SUBJECT: 2019 City Commissions and Committees Appointments <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> N/A N/A N/A <br /> Council Should Consider <br />Approving Resolution 2019-002 Relating to the Appointments to the Commissions and Committees of <br />the City. <br /> <br />Background <br />The following sets forth the Commissioners and Committee members whose terms expired December <br />31, 2018, and whether or not they are seeking reappointment for an additional three-year term: <br />Planning Commission <br />Nick Gehrig is seeking reappointment and wishes to continue in his role as Planning Commission Chair. <br />James Lambeth and Clayton Zimmerman are also seeking reappointment. There is a vacant seat on the <br />Planning Commission at this time. Staff anticipates that interviews for the vacant seat will occur on <br />January 28th prior to the regular City Council meeting. Staff will bring forward a resolution for formal <br />reappointments and any new appointment to the Planning Commission in February. <br /> <br />Economic Development Commission <br />Liz Johnson and Evan Cordes are not seeking reappointment. <br /> <br />Financial Planning and Analysis Committee <br />Katharine Peters is not seeking reappointment. <br /> <br />Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee <br />John Van Valkenburg and Terry Finlay are seeking reappointment. Josh Bloyer and Keri Bloyer are not <br />seeking reappointment. <br /> <br />For those seeking reappointment, their term will expire December 31, 2021. <br /> <br />Attachments <br />Attachment A: Resolution 2019-002
