Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEM – 7E <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: January 14, 2019 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Sue Polka, Public Works Director/City Engineer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Ramsey County (Formerly Ramsey County Conservation District) Shared Service <br />Agreement <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> <br />*Note: This is a pass-through cost <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br />Approving the Shared Service Agreement with Ramsey County for 2019 and authorize the <br />Mayor to execute the Agreement. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />Since 2009, Ramsey Conservation District has been assisting the City with inspections required <br />by the City’s Grading and Erosion Control Permits under Chapter 15, Erosion and Sediment <br />Control Ordinance. The service provided by Ramsey Conservation District has been working <br />very well. <br /> <br />Attached is the Shared Service Agreement between the City of Arden Hills and Ramsey <br />Conservation District to continue this service through 2019. There are minor changes to the <br />Agreement from 2019 that have been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney. The hourly <br />rate remains at $72/hour. Staff is recommending approval of the Shared Service Agreement for <br />2019. <br /> <br />Attachments <br />Attachment A: Shared Services Agreement with Ramsey County
