<br />City of Arden Hills <br />Planning Commission Meeting for January 9, 2018 <br />P:\Planning\Planning Cases\2018\PC 18-027 - Land O'Lakes - Site Plan Review-Sign Standard Adjustment <br /> <br />Page 2 of 6 <br /> <br />The Applicant is requesting flexibility to further deviate from the permitted six (6) square feet and <br />increase the sign area to 24 square feet. The proposed signs are six (6) feet in height and have a <br />width of four (4) feet. The image below depicts the existing and proposed signs. <br /> <br /> <br />Due to the size of the cooperate campus the Applicant is requesting to increase the sign area to add <br />additional site details. The signs would provide directions to the numerous buildings onsite, <br />employee parking and delivery areas. The signs are designed to complement the architecture of <br />the new office building and are constructed of steel and aluminum. The proposed signs are not <br />illuminated and as a condition of approval any future illumination of the signs shall be external <br />and approved by planning staff. The graphic below illustrates the locations of the proposed <br />auxiliary directional signs (C, D, H, and I). <br /> <br /> <br />As part of the overall sign package for Land O’ Lakes, the Applicant is also requesting to replace <br />the existing monument signs located along County Road F West and Lexington Avenue North <br />(Signs A and B in the map above).
