Joint Development Authority <br /> TCAAP Redevelopment Project <br />DATE: <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />SUBJECT: <br />February 4, 2019 <br />Joint Development Authority Board of Commissioners <br />Director Perrault <br />Election of Officers <br />The JDA Board is comprised of two members from the City Council, two members from the Ramsey <br />County Board of Commissioners, and one citizen from Arden Hills to be appointed by the City Council. <br />This citizen appointee will be the Chair of the JDA Board and the appointment will be for a two-year <br />term. <br />On December 17, 2018, the Arden Hills City Council confirmed the 2019 TCAAP Joint Development <br />Authority terms for Mayor David Grant and Councilmember Brenda Holden. <br />The County has confirmed its members of the JDA, they are Commissioner Huffman and Commissioner <br />Ortega. <br />JDA must elect officers annually. JDA must appoint a Vice Chair and shall perform the duties of the <br />Chair in the absence or incapacity of the Chair. Section 2.2 of the JDA Bylaws states the Vice Chair <br />shall be appointed by the Ramsey County Board from its members on the JDA Board. <br />Action Requested <br />Confirm Brian Holmes as Chair of the Joint Development Authority for 2019. <br />Confirm Vice Chair ______________________ for 2019. <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />AGENDA ITEM 4 <br />MEMORANDUM
