6. The sign adjustment will not result in a sign that is inconsistent with the purpose of the I-I <br /> Zoning District. <br /> 7. The signs will not be visible from any residential properties. <br /> 8. The increased sign area will not have a negative impact on adjacent properties or the City <br /> as a whole because it is consistent with the architecture and design of the Land O'Lakes <br /> corporate campus. <br /> Planning Commission Recommendation <br /> The Planning Commission reviewed the request at their January 9, 2019 meeting. At that time, <br /> the Planning Commission recommended approval of the Land O' Lakes Sign Standard Adjustment <br /> via Site Plan Review by a 4-0 vote, based on the following conditions of approval: <br /> 1. Prior to issuance of a Sign Permit, the Applicant shall stake the locations of all proposed <br /> signs adjacent to public roadways. The Applicant shall stake the nearest property line from <br /> the proposed signs. Planning staff shall approve the locations in writing. <br /> 2. No signs shall obstruct or be located in the clear vision area. <br /> 3. All signs shall meet the minimum setback of 5 feet from any property line. <br /> 4. Any future auxiliary directional signs shall match the proposed auxiliary signs discussed <br /> in this staff report. <br /> 5. The Applicant shall reapply for all required Sign Permits. <br /> 6. The sign copy area on the freestanding monument signs shall not exceed 22.5 square feet. <br /> 7. All signs shall may be externally illumined and shall be approved by planning staff in <br /> writing. <br /> 8. The project shall be completed in accordance with the plans submitted and as amended by <br /> the conditions of approval. Any significant changes to these plans, as determined by the <br /> City Planner, shall require review and approval by the Planning Commission and City <br /> Council. <br /> Public Notice and Comments <br /> Although a Site Plan Review does not require a public hearing, a public meeting notice was <br /> prepared by the City and mailed to properties within 350 feet of the subject property.
