The Applicant is requesting flexibility to further deviate from the permitted six (6) square feet and <br /> increase the sign area to 24 square feet. The proposed signs are six (6) feet in height and have a <br /> width of four(4) feet. The signs would provide directions to the numerous buildings onsite, <br /> employee parking and delivery areas. The signs are designed to complement the architecture of <br /> the new office building and are constructed of steel and aluminum. The proposed signs are not <br /> illuminated and as a condition of approval any future illumination of the signs shall be external <br /> and approved by planning staff.
