Additional information <br />is provided during the NWS severe <br />weather awareness weeks in spring <br />and winter. RCEMHS also has a <br />YouTube Channel where “Get Ready <br />Gopher” educational videos on <br />preparedness and severe weather <br />training are posted. These are <br />promoted to the schools as well as <br />the larger public for viewing. NOAA <br />weather radios are recommended <br />as an important way to receive <br />emergency weather alerts from the <br />NWS. Local city Emergency <br />Managers are encouraged to ensure <br />the placement of NOAA radios in <br />key facilities within their <br />communities. <br />County, <br />municipal <br />funding
