CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />SUMMARY ORDINANCE NO.2019-003 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, LICENSE <br />AND REGULATIONS, SECTION 350 TOBACCO <br />PRODUCTS OF THE ARDEN HILLS CITY CODE <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on March 25, 2019, Ordinance No. 2019-003 was <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota. <br />NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, because of the lengthy nature of Ordinance No. <br />2019-003, the following summary of the ordinance has been prepared for publication. <br />NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the ordinance adopted by the City Council <br />amends Arden Hills City Code Chapter 3, License and Regulations, Section 350, Tobacco <br />Products by raising the minimum age of licensees from 18 to 21 years of age; raising the <br />minimum age of individuals to whom licensed products may be sold or for whom licensed <br />products may be procured from 18 to 21 years of age; prohibiting the sale of flavored products; <br />repealing crimes of possession and use of tobacco products; and increasing the fine for first and <br />second violations of the prohibition on sales to underage persons. <br />A printed copy of the whole ordinance is available for inspection by any person during <br />the City's regular office hours or on the City's website. <br />APPROVED for publication by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota, this 25" day of March, 2019. <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />By A�� <br />David Grant, Mayor <br />ATTEST: 'u LP4An <br />(Ij <br />Juli 61 <br />anson, City Clerk <br />Published in the Shoreview -Arden Hills Bulletin on r'1 13 , 2019 <br />
