DATE: April 15, 2019 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> <br />FROM: Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Authorization to Appoint Public Works Maintenance Worker Positions <br /> <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />N/A N/A N/A <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />The Council should consider making the following appointments: <br /> <br />-Joseph Fairbanks to the position of Public Works Maintenance Worker at Step Three in the <br />Union Contract pay scale, all other benefits will begin at “Year 0”. <br /> <br />-Tim Beebe to the position of Public Works Maintenance Worker at Step Three in the Union <br />Contract pay scale, all other benefits will begin at “Year 0”. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The City of Arden Hills currently has two vacancies for Public Works Maintenance Worker <br />positions in the Public Works Department. Following a recruitment for the positions, Joseph <br />Fairbanks and Tim Beebe have been identified as the best applicants, and staff is requesting that <br />the City Council officially approve these appointments.
