<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Approved: April 22, 2019 <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 25, 2019 <br />7:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor David Grant called to order the regular City <br />Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor David Grant, Councilmembers Brenda Holden, Fran Holmes, Dave <br />McClung and Steve Scott <br /> <br /> Absent: None <br /> <br /> Also present: Finance Director Gayle Bauman; Interim Public Works Director/City <br />Engineer Sue Polka; City Attorney Joel Jamnik; and City Clerk Julie Hanson <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden requested item 7D be pulled from the Consent Agenda for further <br />discussion as Item 8A. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to approve the meeting agenda as amended. The motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />2. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br /> <br />Roy Magnuson, Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office, introduced himself to the Council and <br />encouraged the Council to contact him with any comments or questions. <br /> <br />Chuck Kachel, 1520 Arden Place, questioned why the fence at Lindy’s triangle park was taken <br />down, and he recommended this be replaced. He encouraged the City to replace the fence with a <br />baseball backstop. He noted the kids in his neighborhood have used this space as a quasi-ball field <br />and would benefit from having a backstop installed. <br />
