Pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Section 465.03 for the benefit of its citizens, cities are authorized to accept gifts and <br />bequests for the benefits of recreational services. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />The Arden Hills Foundation has donated $650.00 to the City of Arden Hills for a new park bench <br />and plaque. This donation was given to the Arden Hills Foundation from Roberts Management <br />Group (Roberts Family Foundation). To comply with State Statutes, the City needs to acknowledge <br />the donation and issue receipt of the donation to the Arden Hills Foundation. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Motion to Approve Resolution 2019-016 Accepting a Donation from the Arden Hills Foundation <br />in the Amount of $650.00. <br /> <br />Attachment <br /> <br />Attachment A: Resolution 2019-016 <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM
