Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM – 1A <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: June 17, 2019 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> <br />FROM: Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Lake Johanna Fire Department Needs Assessment Overview <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> N/A N/A N/A <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The Lake Johanna Fire Department underwent a long-range planning study with Buetow 2 <br />Architects; the objective of the study was to determine the long-term facility needs of Fire <br />Station 4 (at Victoria) in the context of the current service delivery model. <br /> <br />Currently, the department serves Arden Hills, Shoreview, and North Oaks with a 24/7 duty crew, <br />and has three active stations (Station 3 (Headquarters) at Lexington and CR I, Station 4 at <br />Victoria and CR E, and Station 2 at Hodgson Road near Hwy 96). Lake Johnna Fire department <br />will be present at the work session to give a high-level overview of the study, and answer <br />questions of the Council. <br /> <br />Budget Impact <br /> <br />N/A <br />
