<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Approved: July 8, 2019 <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 10, 2019 <br />7:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor David Grant called to order the regular City <br />Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor David Grant, Councilmembers Brenda Holden, Fran Holmes, Dave <br />McClung and Steve Scott <br /> <br /> Absent: None <br /> <br /> Also present: City Administrator Dave Perrault; Interim Public Works Director/City <br />Engineer Sue Polka; Finance Director Gayle Bauman, and City Clerk Julie Hanson <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to approve the meeting agenda as presented. The motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />2. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br /> <br />Micah Kiernan, 3280 Lake Johanna Boulevard, explained he watched many City Council <br />meetings online. He reported he has lived in Arden Hills for two years and two months. He <br />expressed concern with the speed of traffic along Lake Johanna Boulevard, in addition to <br />distracted driving. He reported he had been in contact with the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office <br />regarding this matter. He encouraged the City Council to have further enforcement along this <br />roadway. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant requested staff speak with the Sheriff’s Department in order to increase the amount <br />of patrols on Lake Johanna Boulevard. He recommended the patrols be for both speed and <br />distracted driving. He also asked staff to trim or remove the foliage that may be partially covering <br />the signage on this roadway. <br />
