<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />PARKS, TRAILS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING <br />TUESDAY, MAY 21, 2019, 6:30 PM <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> <br /> <br />CALL MEETING TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chair Rich Straumann called the May 21, 2019 meeting of the Parks, Trails, and Recreation <br />Committee to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Rich Straumann, Committee Members Terry Finlay, Paul Beggin, <br />Harold Petersen, Dan Dietz, Tim Nelson and Nancy O’Malley <br /> <br />OTHERS PRESENT: Staff Liaison Sara Knoll and City Council Liaison David Grant <br /> <br />ABSENT: John Van Valkenburg <br /> <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: The agenda was unanimously approved by the Committee. <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A. April 16, 2019 PTRC Minutes <br /> <br />Staff Liaison Knoll noted there were two more donations made. A $2,500 donation was received <br />from the University of Northwestern and a $1000 donation was received from Graco and Dan <br />Dietz. <br /> <br />MOTION: The minutes were approved by the Committee with the additional donations noted. <br /> <br />3. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />4. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Ramsey County – Rice Creek North Regional Trail Master Plan (Draft 4-1-2019) <br /> <br />Chair Straumann noted that Ramsey County had released this report reviewing proposed changes <br />to the trails in the Rice Creek Corridor from Shoreview through Arden Hills and into Long Lake <br />Regional Park in New Brighton. Discussion will center on the central portion of the trail from <br />County Road I through County Road H and along the AHATS border. <br />
