<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: April 16, 2019 <br /> <br />TO: Parks Trails and Recreation Committee <br /> <br />FROM: Sara Knoll, Parks and Recreation Coordinator <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Lindey’s Park <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />At the Arden Hills Council Meeting held on Monday, March 25th an Arden Hills Resident spoke <br />during the public inquiries regarding Lindey’s Park. This resident and surrounding neighbors <br />would like to discuss the possibility of having the baseball backstop reinstalled at Lindey’s Park. <br /> <br />Lindey’s Park has been home to a lot of different activities and park users. Some of the activities <br />that have been included at Lindey’s Park are: bocce golf course, baseball backstop, open field <br />space, Ultimate Frisbee practice space and outdoor fitness and yoga classes. <br /> <br />I will bring costs forward to the next PTRC Meeting on installation of fencing. <br /> <br />Action Requested <br /> <br />An open discussion about Lindey’s Park will take place at the meeting. Do the PTRC Members <br />think it would be a good idea to put a backstop at Lindey’s Park? Please be ready to share your <br />thoughts. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
