'It <br /> ,AVEN HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2019-025 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BASE BID FOR THE TENNIS COURT IMPROVEMENTS FOR <br /> CUMMINGS, HAZELNUT AND ROYAL HILLS PARKS PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Tennis Court Improvements for <br /> Cummings,Hazelnut and Royal Hills Parks Project,bids were received,opened,and tabulated according <br /> to the law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> Bidder Base Bid Bid Alternate Total Bid <br /> Bituminous Roadways $303,782.00 $192,322.50 $496,104.50 <br /> Urban Companies $353,409.50 $213,644.00 $567,053.50 <br /> Pember Companies, Inc. $366,330.55 $208,420.85 $574,751.40 <br /> Meyer Contracting, Inc. $435,404.90 $199,765.70 $635,170.60 <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Bituminous Roadways, Inc. of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN <br /> HILLS, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract <br /> with Bituminous Roadways, Inc. of Mendota Heights, Minnesota in the name of the City of <br /> Arden Hills for the Tennis Court Improvements for Cummings, Hazelnut and Royal Hills Parks <br /> Project for the base bid items and declining the bid alternate, according to the plans and <br /> specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> 2.
