Illicit Discharge follow up: (Kathy Johnson) Have suitable stencils been identified for the storm drains? <br />4.2. Removal of Silt around storm drain exits - Discussion/Planning (Gary Gerding, Sue Polka) Reference: <br />Minutes of last meeting, April 2018. <br />4.2.1. Action Requested: (Sue Polka) Determine which storm drains that feed into Karth Lake have large <br />sediment collection tanks and which do not. Are there any plans to add collection tanks at storm <br />drains that do not have them now? <br />4.2.2. Next steps towards removing accumulated silt from Karth Lake? <br />5. NEW BUSINESS <br />5.1 BMP #1 Site - (Gary Gerding & Sue Polka) The remediation appears to reduce some erosion by forcing the <br />runoff over rocks at first but the runoffs still flow well beyond the remediation area and cause visible <br />erosion. Can additions be made to further decrease erosion and promote infiltration? Example: sand bags to <br />block the runoff and force it to infiltrate. <br />5.2 Art Larsen Memorial Garden update - (Discussion/Plan) Dedication completed. Maintenance and/or <br />improvement plans? <br />5.3. Karth Lake water quality and watershed improvement recommendations (Shawn Tracy) <br />5.4. There is an opening on the KLID Board - (Discussion/Plan) Susan Johnson has resigned from the board. <br />Next steps to invite candidates? Email Karth Lake Donors? Send mailers? <br />5.5.
