-ARIEN HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OFMINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO.2019-028 <br /> ABATEMENT OF A NUISANCE AT 1870 GLENPAUL AVENUE <br /> WHEREAS,Roxanne Besch is the property owner of the following described property: <br /> Address: 1870 Glenpaul Avenue <br /> Arden Hills, Minnesota 55112 <br /> PID:333023340079 <br /> Legal Description: See Exhibit A attached hereto <br /> WHEREAS,notice therefore was posted on said property and sent certified mail to the property owner pursuant to <br /> City Regulations;and, <br /> WHEREAS,this abatement was initiated pursuant to the City of Arden Hills Municipal Code;and, <br /> WHEREAS,the Arden Hills City Council held a hearing on September 23,2019.All persons present at said meeting <br /> were given an opportunity to be heard and present written statements. The Council also considered the <br /> recommendation of the City Staff that this abatement be approved;and, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL hereby adopts <br /> Resolution 2019-028, ordering the abatement of violations of City Code Section 602.02 that does not comply with <br /> City regulations at 1870 Glenpaul Avenue,Arden Hills,Minnesota,and to charge the property owner for 125 percent <br /> of the cost of abatement,including administrative costs.The City Administrator is authorized to monitor the property <br /> through September 23, 2021; and to abate any nuisances that do not comply with City regulations, and to charge to <br /> the property owner for each subsequent abatement 125 percent of the cost of abatement, including administrative <br /> costs;and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, in the event that the property owner does not pay any portion of the charges,that <br /> the unpaid amount shall be assessed against the Property,to be collected with the real estate taxes in the year in which <br /> this Resolution is recorded,together with an Affidavit of Cost incurred, and that any assessments levied pursuant to <br /> this Resolution shall bear interest at the rate of 4.5%per annum from the date of recording until September 1 st of the <br /> year in which the special assessment is paid in full. <br /> ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 23TH DAY OF <br /> SEPTEMBER,2019. <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> By <br /> David Grant,Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> By \ <br /> Julie son,City Clerk <br />
