The Ramsey County TIP currently identifies project funding for this intersection improvement. The City has <br />tified the need for improvements to the intersection and for Old Snelling Avenue from County Road E to TH 51. The anticipated <br />•ovements include the following: <br />Reconstruction of Old Snelling Avenue from County Road E to Highway 51 (Snelling Ave); <br />Construction of a single lane roundabout at the intersection of County Road E and Old Snelling Avenue in partnership with Ramsey County; <br />Construction of a pedestrian trail along Old Snelling Avenue from County Road E to Highway 51; <br />Replacement of watermain. sanitary sewer and storm sewer based on a condition assessment currently underway. <br />Justification <br />existing roadway currently has a minimal storm water management system in place. <br />from TH51 to Co Rd E, 2018 PCI = 19 <br />nain - no history of problems <br />y Sewer - pipe condition being evaluated. <br />Sewer - project must meet Rice Creek Watershed District requirements. <br />order to better understand the project costs for this road segment, a feasibility report is being prepared to determine recommended <br />provements. Results of the survey and knowledge of existing conditions will assist in determining potential rehabilitation measures and <br />;ociated construction cost estimates.
