City of Arden Hills Personnel Policy '� Effective February 29, 2016 <br />AIN Hil_Ls Amended October 28, 2019 <br />Training Period A six-month period at the start of employment <br />with the city (or at the beginning of a promotion, <br />reassignment, or transfer) that is designated as a <br />period within which to learn the job. The training <br />period may be extended by the City at the City's <br />option. The training period is the last part of the <br />selection process. <br />Transfer The position within the same class as the position <br />previously held. A transfer does not result in a <br />change in pay range. <br />Weapons Weapons are defined to include all legal or illegal <br />firearms, switchblade knives, or any other object <br />that has been modified to serve as a weapon or <br />that has the primary purpose of serving as a <br />weapon. <br />5 <br />
