ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL — OCTOBER 28, 2019 12 <br />Councilmember Scott reported the 3Td quarter utility bills were recently sent out. He <br />complimented staff for the recent software upgrade and noted he was able to view his bill on his <br />mobile device. <br />Councilmember McClung requested Section 1325 within City Code, regarding parking spaces <br />allowed on residential properties, be further discussed by the City Council at a future worksession <br />meeting. <br />Councilmember McClung stated he would be having surgery in early December and he would be <br />missing two or three City Council meetings in December. <br />Councilmember Holmes requested staff check the microphones within the City Council <br />Chambers noting it was hard to hear one of the speakers at the last Planning Commission meeting. <br />Councilmember Holmes stated she would like staff to investigate the donation of DNR saplings <br />for next spring and that this matter be discussed at a future worksession meeting. <br />Councilmember Holden asked if MnDOT would be attending the November worksession <br />meeting. <br />City Administrator Perrault reported this would be the case. <br />Councilmember Holden requested notice of MnDOT's attendance at the November work session <br />be sent to the Edgewater, Ingerson and Freeway Park areas of the City because this was an <br />important to these residents. <br />Councilmember Holden questioned if any tennis courts had been crack sealed. <br />Interim Public Works Director/City Engineer Blomstrom stated this did not occur because the <br />temperatures did not allow for the work to be done. <br />Mayor Grant asked if staff could speak with MnDOT regarding the dead pine tree at County <br />Road E2. He commented this was a sizeable tree and should be removed. <br />City Administrator Perrault questioned if staff should send out notices to the neighborhoods <br />mentioned by Councilmember Holden prior to the meeting with MnDOT. <br />Mayor Grant supported this information being posted on the website and that notifications be <br />sent to residents living within 1,000 feet. <br />
