ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL —NOVEMBER 12, 2019 7 <br />Councilmember McClung thanked the Public Works crews for keeping the City's streets in <br />excellent condition during the winter months and stated he appreciated all of the work they do all <br />year. <br />Councilmember Holmes explained she watched the last Planning Commission meeting and <br />noted concerns were raised regarding the heavy levels of traffic around the Mounds View High <br />School during drop off and pickup times. She requested this matter be discussed by the Council at <br />a future worksession meeting. She recommended safety measures be implemented prior to next <br />summer. <br />Mayor Grant reported he was working to put together a special meeting with the school district <br />for Wednesday, November 20th <br />Councilmember Holmes commented on the items the Council would be addressing at the <br />Monday, November 181h worksession meeting. <br />Mayor Grant stated staff would be sending the snow plowing guidelines to the City Council for <br />review prior to the winter snow plowing season. <br />City Administrator Perrault spoke to the Council regarding the recent election. He explained <br />the vacant County Commission seat would be filled by Nicole Frethem. He reported the Mounds <br />View School District referendum passed. <br />Councilmember Holmes commented there were concerns with signage and the location of <br />Precinct 2. She stated she was uncertain if North Heights Church was the right location for this <br />Precinct. <br />Mayor Grant reported elections and polling locations would be discussed at the Monday, <br />November 181h worksession meeting. <br />ADJOURN <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember McClung seconded a <br />motion to adiourn.
