The finish of the proposed addition shall complement the existing structure. • Recommend Approval as Submitted: Motion to recommend approval of Planning Case 19- 011 for a Variance at 1314 Cannon Avenue, based on the findings of fact and the submitted plans in the October 9, 2018 Report to the Planning Commission. • Recommend Denial: Motion to recommend denial of Planning Case 19-011 for a Variance at 1314 Cannon Avenue, based on the following findings: findings to deny should specifically reference the reasons for denial and why those reasons cannot be mitigated. • Table: Motion to table Planning Case 19-011 for a Variance at 1314 Cannon Avenue: a specific reason and information request should be included with a motion to table. Notification Although a variance does not require a public hearing, a notice of the Planning Commission was mailed to all properties within 350 feet of the subject property. Staff has not received any letters, e-mails, or telephone calls from property owners or occupants concerning this planning case. Deadline for Agency Actions The City of Arden Hills received the completed application for this request on September 5, 2019. Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute, the City must act on this request by November 4, 2019 (60 days), unless the City provides the petitioner with written reasons for an additional 60-day review period.
