<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />PARKS, TRAILS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING <br />TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2019, 6:30 PM <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> <br /> <br />CALL MEETING TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chair Rich Straumann called the September 17, 2019 meeting of the Parks, Trails, and Recreation <br />Committee to order at 5:02 p.m. <br /> <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Rich Straumann, Committee Members Terry Finlay, Paul Beggin, <br />Harold Petersen, Dan Dietz <br /> <br />OTHERS PRESENT: City Council Liaison David Grant, Staff Liaison Sara Knoll, Interim <br />Public Works Director/City Engineer Todd Blomstrom, Jill Anderson and Marie Hinton <br /> <br />ABSENT: Committee Members Nancy O’Malley, John Van Valkenburg and Tim Nelson <br /> <br />Marie Hinton and Jill Anderson shared their background and why they’d like to participate in <br />joining the PTRC Committee. <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: The agenda was unanimously approved by the Committee. <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A. July 16, 2019 PTRC Minutes <br /> <br />MOTION: The minutes were approved by the Committee. <br /> <br />3. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />4. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. PTRC Meeting Dates <br /> <br />Chair Straumann noted the dates are on the third Tuesday of the month, and the Committee <br />usually takes a tour in June and a joint Committee/Commission barbeque in July, and they don’t <br />meet in August. <br /> <br />Staff Liaison Knoll said there wasn’t a January meeting scheduled due to the City Council <br />meeting that same night and asked if they would like to have a meeting another night instead.
