Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />DATE: January 13, 2020 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council Members <br />David Perrault, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: David Swearingen, Senior Engineering Technician <br />Todd Blomstrom, Interim Public Works Director/City Engineer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Tennis Court Improvements for Cummings and Royal Hills Parks, Pay Voucher <br />No. 3 <br /> <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Sources: <br /> $349,102 $363,282 PIR <br /> Council Should Consider <br /> <br />The Council is requested to approve Pay Voucher No. 3 in the amount of $44,585.40 for the <br />Tennis Courts Improvements at Cummings and Royal Hills Park, City Project No. PW-19-0104. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />On July 22, 2019, the City Council adopted Resolution #2019-025 awarding a contract for the <br />Tennis Court Improvements at Cummings and Royal Hills Parks to Bituminous Roadways in the <br />amount of $303,782.00 for the base bid, and declining the bid alternate for Hazelnut Park. <br /> <br />The contractor began the project on September 3, 2019 and has completed resurfacing and <br />striping work at Cummings Park. The tennis and basketball courts at Cummings Park are open <br />for public use. The contractor has also completed concrete work, bituminous paving, fence <br />installation, and a majority of restoration at Royal Hills Park. <br /> <br />Pay Voucher No. 3 reflects all work through December 31, 2019 with five percent retainage <br />applied. The project is estimated to be 90% complete. The project consultant recommends <br />approval of Pay Voucher No. 3 as provided in Attachment A.
