AREN_HILLS <br /> Approved: February 24, 2020 <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br /> CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br /> JANUARY 21,2020 <br /> 5:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Grant called to order the City Council <br /> Work Session meeting at 5:00 p.m. <br /> Present: Mayor David Grant, Councilmembers Brenda Holden, Fran Holmes, Dave <br /> McClung and Steve Scott <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also present: City Administrator Dave Perrault, Finance Director Gayle Bauman, Public <br /> Works Director/City Engineer Todd Blomstrom, Senior Engineering Technician David <br /> Swearingen, Community Development Manager/City Planner Mike Mrosla, Associate <br /> Planner Joe Hartmann, Communications Coordinator Dawn Skelly, Recreation <br /> Coordinator Sara Knoll, GreenCorps Member Danica Mooney-Jones and Deputy Clerk <br /> Jolene Trauba <br /> 1. AGENDA ITEMS <br /> A. 2020 State of the City Meeting <br /> Mayor Grant asked if anyone had a preference on date or location. <br /> Communications Coordinator Skelly mentioned that if the event were held at Boston Scientific <br /> we would use their food service, at Land O'Lakes we would use their catering service. <br /> After discussion it was determined to have the event at Land O'Lakes on April 23. <br /> Mayor Grant asked if there were any items anyone would like added or removed from the list of <br /> topics. <br /> Councilmember Holden would like to have a legislative update. She would like a slide about the <br /> foundation and donations. <br /> Communications Coordinator Skelly said staff could ask someone from the Red Bulls to speak. <br />
