ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—MARCH 9, 2020 3 <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br /> motion to approve the Consent Calendar as amended and to authorize <br /> execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried <br /> unanimously (5-0). <br /> 7. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> A. Motion to Approve 2020 Public Works Department Equipment Purchases <br /> Councilmember Holden stated she wanted to vote on this item separately. She explained she <br /> would like to table action on the F-350 to allow the Council to further discuss this purchase at a <br /> future worksession meeting. <br /> Mayor Grant encouraged Councilmember Holden to make a motion recommending this action. <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br /> motion to approve the 2020 Public Works Department Equipment Purchases <br /> which include One Bobcat 5600 Toolcat in the amount of $35,095.10, <br /> including the $17,500.00 trade-in of a 2010 Bobcat 5600 Toolcat (Unit 435); <br /> One 2021 Mack single axle cab and chassis in the amount of $108,963.00 as <br /> the initial purchase to replace a 2011 International single axle plow truck <br /> (Unit 120); and One F-250 Pickup truck with utility service body in the <br /> amount of$47,358.99, including the $5,000.00 trade-in of a 2012 F-350 truck <br /> (Unit 203). The motion carried (5-0). <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Mayor Grant seconded a motion to table <br /> action on the Purchase of the One F-350 Pickup truck with plow and lift gate <br /> in the amount of$41,570.72, including the $6,500.00 trade-in of a 2010 F-350 <br /> truck (Unit 210) to a future Council worksession meeting.
