Benchmarks: A Review of Recent City Council Action <br />January 27, 2020 <br />All items approved by a <br />unanimous 5-0 vote. <br />• <br />appointing Micah Kiernan to <br />the PTRC Committee for a <br />term expiring December 31, <br />2021. <br />• <br />amendment for chapter 12 <br />of the city’s sign code and <br />a summary publication. <br />Amending our current <br />ordinance was to bring <br />the city’s non-commercial <br />compliance with county and <br />state regulations. <br />February 10, 2020 <br />Council Member Scott – excused. <br />All approved 4-0, except where <br />noted. <br />• <br />disabilities on April 19, 2020. <br />• <br />the city to accept State <br />Transportation Grant Funding <br />for a portion of the Snelling <br />Bridge replacement project <br />costs. <br />• <br />establishing a 25 mph speed <br />1 hour in the morning and 1 <br />with school start/end hours <br />• <br />the public hearing for Summit <br />easements – amended to clarify <br />For a complete listing of recent City <br />Council action, please review the <br />meeting minutes on the city website <br />at cityofardenhills.org and click on <br />View Agendas & Minutes. <br />Report Potholes and Plow Damage; Spring Projects Underway <br />Damage to Boulevards <br />Areas of turf that sustained <br />damage due to city snow plow <br />blades will be repaired in the <br />spring. Repairs will consist of <br />topsoil and seed. <br />Mailbox Damage <br />Mailboxes that were damaged due <br />to being hit directly by a snow <br />plow will be repaired in the spring. <br />In the meantime, a temporary <br />residence. <br /> <br />Potholes <br />will be addressed in the spring, <br />Our goal is for hotpatch pothole <br />Call 651-792-7850, or <br />to report damage, or send an email <br />to jshull@cityofardenhills.org. <br />Street Sweeping <br />Spring street sweeping will begin <br />as soon as the streets are free of <br />snow and/or ice. The city will <br />sweep areas throughout the season, <br />as needed. <br />Residential Yard Projects <br />The city street right-of-way <br />could extend up to 10 to 15 feet <br />beyond the curb and is intended to <br />storage, utilities and other public <br />uses.
