NEW BUSINESS — 10A <br /> --Mt <br /> ,-AVEN�HILLS <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: April 27, 2020 <br /> TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council Members <br /> Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br /> FROM: Mike Mrosla, Community Development Manager/City Planner <br /> SUBJECT: Planning Case# 18-014 —Public Hearing Required <br /> Applicant: City of Arden Hills/ISD #621: Mounds View Public Schools <br /> Property Location: 1900 Lake Valentine Road <br /> Request: Amended Planned Unit Development <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> N/A N/A N/A <br /> Council Should Consider the Following: <br /> Motion to approve Planning Case 18-014 for an amendment to the Mounds View High School <br /> Planned Unit Development based on the findings of fact and the April 15, 2020 Report to the <br /> Planning Commission. <br /> Background/Summary <br /> On May 22, 2019, the City Council approved Planning Case #18-014 for the Mounds View High <br /> School Planned Unit Development (PUD), subject to several conditions. The terms of the PUD <br /> approval requires the Mounds View School District to implement safety improvements on Lake <br /> Valentine Road to address traffic and increased pedestrian crossings between the school building <br /> and the north parking lot. The School District and City have completed a study to identify specific <br /> traffic and pedestrian improvements for Lake Valentine Road. At this time the original approved <br /> PUD requires amending to include conditions based on the findings contained within the traffic <br /> study, an evaluation of existing site conditions and as recommended by the Planning Commission. <br /> Suggested Findings of Fact <br /> The Planning Commission offers the following findings of fact for consideration: <br /> 1.
