Operating expenses for 2019 were $172,232, an increase of $4,087 from the <br />prior year. <br /> <br />The Recycling Fund also received $23,597 of nonoperating intergovernmental revenues that are available <br />for the operation of the City’s Recycling Program. <br /> <br />In 2015, intergovernmental revenues included $100,000 received from Ramsey County as a grant to <br />upgrade city residents’ recycling receptacles. This intergovernmental revenue is not reflected in the graph <br />above; however, the expenses related to this grant are included in the operating results presented by the <br />graph above. This one-time grant accounts for the increase in operating expenses in the 2015 fiscal year. <br />
