City of Arden Hills Chapter 12 Sign Code <br />12-15 <br />Adopted: March 10, 2008 <br /> <br />Section 1220 – Permit and Review Process <br /> <br />1220.01 Permit Required. Except for those signs listed in Section 1230.01, <br />no sign shall be erected, altered, reconstructed, maintained, moved, or <br />enhanced in the City without obtaining a sign permit from the City. The <br />content of the message or speech displayed on the sign shall not be <br />considered when approving or denying a sign permit; however, the content <br />must be submitted to evaluate the sign copy area and to restrict permanent <br />off-premise signs. A separate sign application shall be required for each <br />sign. <br /> <br />1220.02 Application Process. An application for a sign permit shall be on the <br />City’s official sign application. Unless waived by the City Administrator or <br />their designee, each application shall contain the following information or it <br />shall be considered incomplete: <br /> <br />Subd. 1 Name, signature, address, and phone number of the property <br />owner (required). <br /> <br />Subd. 2 Name, signature, address, and phone number of the applicant <br />(if different than the property owner). <br />
