❑ additional protections and protocol for distancing and barriers; <br /> ❑ additional protections and protocols for managing occupancy; <br /> ❑ additional protocols to limit face-to-face interaction; <br /> Ensure sick workers stay home and prompt identification and isolation of <br /> sick persons <br /> Workers have been informed of and are encouraged to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19.The <br /> following policies and procedures are being implemented to assess workers' health status prior to entering the <br /> workplace and for workers to report when they are sick or experiencing symptoms.All people entering any city <br /> facility shall review the health screening questionnaire and self-monitor for symptoms; should a person answer <br /> yes to the questionnaire or experience COVID-19 symptoms they shall not enter a city facility and employees <br /> shall immediately notify their supervisor. Employees that develop symptoms at the workplace will immediately <br /> remove themselves from the workplace and notify their supervisor; if they cannot remove themselves from the <br /> workplace they will self-isolate until they are able. <br /> The City of Arden Hills has implemented leave policies that promote workers staying at home when they are <br /> sick,when household members are sick,or when required by a health care provider to isolate or quarantine <br /> themselves or a member of their household. Employees may be eligible to use PTO, other accrued time off, <br /> and/or qualify for the Emergency COVID-19 Sick Leave or FMLA. To the extent practical, accommodations for <br /> workers with underlying medical conditions or who have household members with underlying health conditions <br /> will be made. <br /> The City of Arden Hills will follow applicable federal, state, and local guidelines to inform employees that may <br /> have been exposed to COVID-19 in the workplace; applicable privacy rules will apply. <br /> Employees will be allowed to return to work as recommended by the CDC. <br /> Social distancing — Workers must be at least six-feet apart <br /> Social distancing of at least six-feet will be implemented and maintained between employees and all people that <br /> enter a city facility through the following engineering and administrative controls: <br /> • City Hall remains closed to the general public limiting potential exposure <br /> • Remote working is being utilized for employees that do not need to be in the office. <br /> • Flexible scheduling allows for employees to limit contact in the office. <br /> • All employee work stations can currently maintain effective social distancing. <br /> • Public Works employees are on a staggered shift separated by one hour to prevent unnecessary contact. <br /> • Plexiglas barriers have been erected in high-traffic areas and public facing counters. <br /> • Signage has been placed in high-traffic areas reminding people not to gather and to socially distance. <br /> • A one person per vehicle policy has been instituted. <br />
