CONSENT ITEM—6D <br /> ltm-- <br /> ---ARZEN HILL <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: June 22, 2020 <br /> TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council Members <br /> David Perrault, City Administrator <br /> FROM: David Swearingen, Assistant City Engineer, EIT <br /> Todd Blomstrom, Public Works Director/City Engineer <br /> SUBJECT: Payment Voucher No. 4, Tennis Court Improvements for Cummings and Royal <br /> Hills Parks <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Sources: <br /> $349,102 $3681522 PIR <br /> Council Should Consider <br /> The Council is requested to consider approval of Pay Voucher No. 4 in the amount of$20,073.50 <br /> for the Tennis Courts Improvements at Cummings and Royal Hills Park, City Project No. <br /> PW-19-0104. <br /> Backuround <br /> On July 22, 2019, the City Council adopted Resolution #2019-025 awarding a contract for the <br /> Tennis Court Improvements at Cummings and Royal Hills Parks to Bituminous Roadways in the <br /> amount of $303,782.00. The contractor began the project on September 3, 2019 and has <br /> completed a majority of the contract items. Both court surfaces are currently open for public use. <br /> There are two change orders on this project, resulting in a revised contract amount of$323,001. <br /> This revised amount includes repairs for graffiti damage to the Cummings Park Court surface <br /> and a correction in one unit price item for concrete ribbon curb in Change Order No. 1 in the <br /> amount of$2,340. The City is seeking restitution for the cost of repairing graffiti vandalism on <br /> the Cummings Park court surface. <br /> Pay Voucher No. 4 reflects all work through May 29, 2020 with five percent retainage applied. <br /> The project consultant and City staff recommend approval of Payment Voucher No. 4 as <br /> provided in Attachment A. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
