ARDEN HILLS SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION — JUNE 29, 2020 10 <br />Mayor Grant suggested they invite the Ramsey County Sheriff to address the Council at a regular <br />meeting in July or August that would potentially draw more people to listen, even though it would <br />be virtual. <br />Councilmember McClung said he would like to see an opportunity for more interaction between <br />residents and the command staff of the Sheriff's Department. <br />Mayor Grant thought perhaps they could have a meeting with other contract cities at a large <br />venue and invite the public. <br />Councilmember Holden said she'd like to hear from the organizers of the march first before they <br />plan another meeting. She wasn't sure what issues they would discuss at a second meeting with <br />the Sheriff's Department that wasn't covered tonight. <br />Mayor Grant asked staff to see if they could schedule the march organizers to come to the July <br />work session. <br />ADJOURN <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to adiourn.
