1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program Parameters <br /> <br />Staff offers the following program parameters and is looking for additional guidance on all items, <br />specifically the highlighted items. <br /> <br />Grant amount: <br /> <br />1. How much of the CRF funding will be made available for this program? $________ <br />2. What should the maximum amount grant ceiling per business be set at? <br />a. $10,000.00 <br />b. $7,500.00 <br />c. $5,000.00 <br />d. Other <br />Eligibility Requirements: (these will be adjusted based on the option selected under #4 below) <br /> <br />1. The business must have been deemed non-essential by the State of Minnesota and/or have <br />faced mandated closure per State of Minnesota orders. <br />2. The business shall have a physical address (proof of address required) within the City. <br />3. Business shall be in operation long enough to demonstrate financial viability; and have <br />been subject to the State of Minnesota Emergency Executive Order 20-04 (March 16, <br />2020). <br />4. Language options for businesses that could be funded are (pick one): <br />a. All Arden Hills business who can demonstrate loss due to COVID-19. <br />b. All Arden Hills business who can demonstrate loss due to COVID-19 excluding <br />home-based businesses, self-employed, and individual contractors. <br />c. All Arden Hills businesses deemed nonessential under executive orders - <br />Restaurants, cafes, coffeehouses and other places of public accommodation <br />offering food or beverage for on-premises consumption. Gymnasiums, fitness <br />centers, indoor sports facilities, indoor exercise facilities, exercise studios, <br />businesses offering massage therapy or similar body work, spas, salons, nail salons, <br />cosmetology salons and barber shops. This includes, but is not limited to, all salons <br />and shops licensed by the Minnesota Board of Cosmetologist Examiners and the <br />Minnesota Board of Barber Examiners. Art, dance and music studios. <br />5. Language options for number of employees:
